About Us

In March 2021, ATL Uncensored was launched by a local Atlantan with no journalism background, who had an idea to provide news without any censorship. In its introductory year, ATL Uncensored broke countless stories that would get picked up by national media.

In July 2021, a graphic video posted on the ATL Uncensored social media pages showing an Atlanta police sergeant kicking a handcuffed woman in the head went viral; prompting international media coverage, which resulted in the sergeant’s termination. Less than three months later, ATL Uncensored put a national spotlight on police brutality once again, when they revealed a video showing a Georgia State Patrol trooper stomping on a suspect lying on the ground in early October. This time attracted the attention of Ben Crump, the attorney who represented the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, and Ahmaud Arbery. Then in December 2021, ATL Uncensored introduced “Delta Karen” to the world, the woman who attacked an elderly man over a mask on a flight to Atlanta. It’s no surprise the story would make it to the front pages of many networks; including TMZ, a popular news website and show ATL Uncensored is often compared to.

Because of this reputable track record, ATL Uncensored has quickly become a people’s favorite for its reporting style of raw and uncut footage of real-time events. The peach watermark has become a familiar signature, often being seen dozens of times on viral videos or on TV by the major news, who too, get their latest news updates from ATL Uncensored. While the content shared is mainly unfortunate news, ATL Uncensored also uses its platform for good. They teamed up with NBA Superstar Shaquille O’Neal to surprise a single mother of 8 with furniture shopping for Thanksgiving in 2021! They put together a comedy show in March 2022 with the Be More Positive Company, a company credited with spearheading the state’s largest mentoring initiative for troubled youth. The comedy show was entitled “Laugh Don’t Shoot.”

ATL Uncensored made a powerful entry into the media world  and has proven to be a trustable and consistent source of news; that presents unfiltered real-world issues affecting local people every day.
